Ronald Ward has played a great variety of parts at many London theatres and at more than one New \ork theatre, in addition to a long Australian tour with Irene A'anhrough and Dion Boucicoult. "Outward Bound", "Bröken Wings", "Noel Cowards "The Young Idea", etc. etc. Though still at the beginning of his career, Ronald Ward has already niade a reputation for hiniself. An actor of his talents was bound to attract the attention of film producers, and Ronald Ward was given his first screen opportunity in the talking film "Alibi", in which he played juvenile lead. Alfred Wellesley, Character Coniedian; born in 1875. Wrote own comedy sketches and featured in them on all big vaudeville circuits. Principal comedian in seven George Edwardes' musical comedies. Played a great variety of leading comedy parts in London and the English iirovinces. Appeared in principal parts at Aldwych, Adelphi, Coliseum, Daly's, Duke of York's, Gaiety, Garrick, Opera House, Pavilion, Priiice of Wales' and Prince's, in the West-end ; recent successes there being in "Maid of the Mountains", "The Last Waltz", "Cuckoo-in-the-Nest", "Merely Molly", "Thark", "A Warm Corner", "Little Tommy Tucker" and "Henry the Ninth". Played in the Lhiited States in "The Middle Walch". Recent talking films include "A Warm Corner" (Gainsborough) and "The Beggar Student" (A. F. A.).
