W illard and subsequently for the lale Lewis aller, with whom he produced many famoiis plays, including "Monsieur Beaucaire" and "The Three Musketeers". Mangerially he has produced plays at practically all the principal London theatres, as well as in the provinces and in America. "The House of Temperlev", "The Speckled Band'\ "Out of the Blue", "A Pot of Caviare", "The Fires of Fate"\ "Vice Versa", "A Butterflv on the Wheel"', "The Chalk Line", "By Pigeon Post", "Scandal", "The Gage", "The Black Spider", "The Limping Man" and "Queer Fish" are only a few of bis successes as a producer. As an actor he has triumphed in a variety of leading parts, including Sir Robert Fyffe and Lord EUerdine in "A Butterfly on the \^ heel", Count Bernard in "Tiger Cats", Captain Ignoto in "The ^ idow s Cruise", Beiton in "The OneEyed Herring", Sir Edwin Kite in "The Limping Man", W. W. Trout in "Queer Fish", Malcolm Fräser in "Scandal", Thornton Clay in "Our Betters", Reginald Cosway in "The Black Spider", etc. Has also made films for various leading companies, including B. L P., Stoll, Butchers and Lniversal. \^ as recently featured in "Atlantic", "Creeping Shadows", "Dreyfus", etc. Arthur Hardy widmete sich der Bühne im Jahre 1898 als Darsteller und Regisseur und hat für eine große Anzahl erfolgreicher Aufführungen verantwortlich gezeichnet. Mehrere Jahre lang übte er seine Regietätigkeit aus bei dem verstorbenen E. S. Willard und in der Folge bei dem gleichfalls verstorbenen Lewis Waller, mit dem zusammen er manch berühmtes Stück herausbrachte, unter anderen den „Monsieur Beaucaire" und „Die drei Musketiere". Arthur Hardy hat an allen Londoner Bühnen wie auch in der Provinz und in Amerika Stücke inszeniert.
