Während einer dreijährigen Tätigkeit in der Provinz waren ihr besondere Erfolge beschieden in der Hauptrolle von ..Damsel in Distress" und als Antonia Sanger in .,The Constant Nymph", wo sie mit Edna Best zusammen spielte. Es ist imr natürlich, daß der Film sich eine Darstellerin wie Diana Beaumont nicht entgehen läßt: sie hatte ein glänzendes Debüt in dem Tonfilm „Alibi", dem eine Reihe weiterer Engagements folgten. Subse(iuently played the part of Marie, a French girl. in _He Walked in Her Sleep" at the \audeville Theatre. followed by Sally in "Lilac Time", both in London and on tour. Scored many great personal successes in a large nuniber of leading parts with the Peterborough Repeilory Company and also with the London Repertory Company. Gave outstanding Performances in \vonne Arnaud"s part in "Tons of Money". in Delysia's part in "Her Past". as Judy Abbott in "DaddyLong-Legs". Lucille in "A Week-End". Virginia in "Grumpy". Lady Mary in "Seven Days' Leave". Nan-Ping in "Mr. Wu". Eliza in "Eliza Conies to Stay". the Girl in the Park in "Great Possessions", etc.. etc. Has had some film experience. is an all-round dancer and has a good soprano voice. Audrey Binham bildete sich für die Bühne an der Royal Academy of Dramatic Art aus und debütierte am Londoner Hippodrom im Chor einer Revue. Hierauf übernahm sie die Rolle der Marie, einer kleinen Französin, in ..He Walked in Her Sleep" am Vaudeville-Theater und später die Sally in ..Lilac Time": in beiden Rollen ging sie auch auf Tournee. Großen Beifall errang sie in einer Reihe führender Rollen bei der Peterborough-RepertoryCompany und ebenso bei der London-Repertory-Company. Besonders erwähnenswert war ihre Darstellung der Rolle der Yvonne Arnaud in ..Tons of Money". der Delysia in ..Her Past". der Judy Abbott in ..DaddyLong-Legs". der Lucille in ..A Week-End". der ^ irginia in „Grumpy". der Nan-Ping in ..Mr. Wu". der Eliza in ..Eliza Comes to Stay" und des Mädchens im Park in „Great Possessions". Audrey Binham hat auch bereits einige Erfahrung im Film, ist eine glänzende Tänzerin und besitzt eine gute Sopranstimme. 464
