Has appeared successfully at nearly every leading theatre in London, including the Savoy, Haymarket, Duke of \ork's, Ambassadors, Fortune and Lyric Theatres and the London Hippodrome. Made her first appearance on the screen in the days of the silent film and played, aniong others, in "'Guns of Loos ", "The King's Highwav", "The Squire of Long Hadlev". "The Rat", "The Farmer's Wife". Made her talklng film debut at the beginning of 1931 in "Shadows", followed by a number of other engagements in quick succession. Has scored successes in, among others, "Dance, Little Lady", "Sunshine Susie" and "The Beggar Student". Needless to say, she speaks French fluently, having in her Student days in Paris played in several Moliere comedies. Mollie Ellis is one of the most promising film actresses of the younger generation and has already achieved a considerable measure of popularity among cinema-goers. The King's Highway", „The Squire of Long Hadley", „The Rat", „The Farmer's Wife". Großen Beifall erntete sie besonders in „Dance, Little Lady", „Sunshine Susie" und „The Beggar Student". 477
