Vanda Greville was born in 1909 in London, of Norwegian-Scots parentage and started her career in Paris with Abel Gance. Subsequently she joined Rene Ciaire , the famous Frencb producei-, and played in tbe German and English Version of bis phenoniinally successful talking film prodiiction „Le Million". Tben she worked with William Thiele and later secured contracts with Gaiimont British and Paramonnt, niaking films for both companies in London. Apart from "Le Million", Vanda Greville has played important parts in a number of other talking film ])roductions, including "Le Bai" (German and English versions), "Gentleman of Paris", "Le Train des Suicides", "La Fin du Monde" (German and English versions), etc.
