Z : Blonde Enid Stamp-Taylor sttdied for the stage under Rosina Filippi. and made her first professional appearance at the Prinee of Wales's Theatre, London, in 1922, as a meniber of the chorus of "A to Z". In the same year she played April in "The Cabaret Girl" at the Winter Garden and later toured as Sophie Lavalle in "The Lady of the Rose". Since then she has played principal parts in a large number of musical plays, including "Madame Pompadour", "The Punch Bowl", "The Looking Glass", "R. S. V. P.". "Vaudeville Vanities", "Peggy-Ann", etc. etc. Early in her career she was for eighteen months a member of the Midnight FoUies at the Hotel Metropole. Enid Stamp-Taylor occupies a high place in the profession and Owes her success entirely to her great natural talent plus a capacity for hard work. She has an important following among the London theatre-going public, whom her name alone is sufficient to attract to a play. Jeanne Stuart was trained for the stage — on the siage. Took up acting more as a hobby than as a profession, but was so successful that she decided in favour of a theatrical career. Played her first important part in "Nine Till Six" in New York. Subsequently returned to England to play in "After All" at the Criterion Theatre. London. Immediately attracted the attention of the film world and was given her first big opportunity on the talking screen by the British and Dominions Film Company, who presented her in ''Mischief", Jeanne Stuart justified her inclusion in the cast of this production by scoring a very notable personal success. In her next talking film, "A Safe Affair", made for Langham Productions, she appeared with John H. Roberts and Franklin Dyall, repeating and improving upon her first success. At present she is playing in the successful farce "It's A Girl", at the Strand Theatre. Sie ist der Liebling des Londoner Theaterpublikums, und schon ihr Name genügt, das Haus zu füllen. Jeane Stuart wurde für die Bühne ausgebildet — an der Bühne selbst. Sie spielte zunächst mehr aus Liebhaberei als aus Beruf, war jedoch so erfolgreich, daß sie sich ganz für die Bühnenlaufbahn entschied. Ihre erste bedeutende Rolle spielte sie in „Nine Till Six" in New York. Dann kehrte die Künstlerin nach England zurück und trat in „After All" am Criterion-Theater in London auf.
