Ski Rolf Döring ist im Jahre 1900 in Wien geboren, besuchte erst das Gymnasium, wurde nach der Matura Bankbeamter, bis er sich 1925 der Bühne zuwandte. In diesem Jahre fand der junge Künstler ein Engagement am Theater an der Wien bei Hubert Marischka und trat im „Orlow" zum erstenmal vor das Publikum. Rolf Döring blieb dem Theater an der Wien fünf Jahre treu, gastierte allerdings während dieser Zeit wiederholt in München ( Deutsches Theater, Revue). Von November 1928 bis Mai 1929 spielte Rolf Döring an Max Reinhardts Theater in der Josef Stadt („Charleys Tante", „Leinen aus Ii'land"). 1931 ging der Künstler an die „Komödie" in der Kärntner Straße („Juwelenraub"). 1931/32 absolvierte er Gastspiele und Tourneen ( Schauspiel ) und im August 1932 engagierte ihn Rotter nach Berlin. Stumme Filme: „Der Feldherrnhügel", „Hai» fische der Nachkriegszeit". Tonfilme: „Hirsekorn greift ein" ( mit Susa-Bressart ) und „Sehnsucht 202". HEIGHT: 6ft. HAIR: Dark Brown.
