Faustus"; 1926, played Dr. Diafoirus in "Le Malade Imaginaire"; more recently, played Cosnio Pcnny in "The Devil Passes", both in London and New York; played Lord John Langdale in "The Lion Tamer"; took part in the Malvern Festival both in 1931 and 1932; played Lord Foppington in "A Trip to Scarborough", giving what the press considered the best Performance of the year; played in the f ilm "Ashes" for an independent British Company; made "The Old Dark Horse" for Universal Pictures in Hollywood. In „A Trip to Scarborough" verkörperte der Künstler den Lord Foppington, der von der Kritik als beste darstellerische Leistung des Jahres gewertet wurde.
