Dann reiste sie vier Jahre hindurch mit der Arts League of Service. Bei einer solchen Aufführung sah sie Basil Dean und ermöglichte ihr Londoner Bühnendebüt unter seiner Regie in „The Likes of Her" am St. Martin. In der Folgezeit spielte die Künstlerin in „The Forest", „On with the Dance". „Queen High". ..When Cruminels Played", „Lord Babs", „Holding Out the Apple". .,Excelsior", „The Five O'Clock Girl" u. a. m.
