In 1926. won the Meggie Albanesi scholarship at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art; made her first Westend appearance in the ingenue pari in "The Lady of the Camelias", at the same time understudying Tallulah Bankhead; played her first important role in London as Juvenile Lead in "Let us he Gay"; has frequently played in hroadcast plays for the B.B.C.; has had considerable screen experience, having played principal roles in the following talking films: "Immediate Possession", "We Dine at Seven", "The Professional Guest" (all Fox productions), "These Charming People", "Stambour' (Paramount) ; latest talking film role, Olga in "Ariane", with Elisabeth Bergner, produced by Pathe-Nathan, Paris; has just returned to the stage after nearly a year's absence as a result of a serious accident, from which she has now fully recovered; was at the time of the accident under contraet to Reandco to play a leading part in "Late Night Final". Has now joined the cart of "Never Come Back" at the Phoenix Theatre, London, playing and understudying Adrianne Allan.
