HERE'S beauty in the theatre — and one doesn't have to look far to discover it, either. Above is the latest group of entrants in the contest which the Universal Weekly is conducting to find the prettiest usherette in America. And these are only a few — space does not permit publication of all the many beautiful pictures that have been received from proud managers. Every mail brings more — and every picture seems more beautiful than the one before. It looks like a tough assignment for the judges, and one that will take considerable more time than they figured, too! The prize, you know, is the usherette costume worn by Margaret Sullavan in "The Good Fairy." Who will win it? Who IS the country's prettiest usherette? We'll give you a peek at some more of the entries next week — watch for them! Entries closed with this issue. The winner will be announced in the March second issue.
