Originally it \vas skedded. for four more weeks. Musical groups featuring . Terry Gibbs, Charlie Ventura, and Dave Rodgers were booked into the main showroom, and Wingy Marione was set tor the lounge.: Manone pulled out before the opening because of a contract dispute. At. the preem, Ventura slipped on the stage and broke five ribs, sending him to the hospital and out'of action for four orfive weeks;. Casino bosses complained be¬ cause most (Of . the customers were musicians, and chorines, giving.the gaming, department, very little ac¬ tion.
