His Brussels triumphs were repeated at Covent Garden, where he is a great favorite. He was brought to the United States in 1966 by Oscar Hammerstein, and his triumphs at the Manhattan in ™ a Don José, Samson, Hoffman, Romeo, Manrico and eee other réles are well remembered. With the closing of the Manhattan, Mr. Dalmores was engaged by the Philadelphia-~Chicago Opera Company, in which organization he is repeatDa ing his great successes in Carmen and Samson, and has recently created a real sensation by his wonderful singing in Lohengrin and Walkiire, giving the latter opera in German.
