VICTOR RECORDS WILLS, NAT M., Comedian No entertainer on the American stage to-day is more popular with the public than Nat Wills. His familiar impersonation of a tramp is unique and always amusing, without a touch of offensiveness or vulgarity. His stories and monologues are so witty and laugh-compelling that one suspects they are written, like his parodies, by himself—and he never fails to make the most of them. Mr. Wills may be said to have a voice created for recordmaking, so powerful and resonant is his rich baritone; and the distinctness with which he gives every syllable of his talks and songs is of course known to everyone. The records which we offer are remarkable in every respect, and so natural that it would be impossible to distinguish between the reproduction and his actual voice. Marine Band) WITHERSPOON, HERBERT, Bass The Victor Company is now able to offer to its patrons a number of fine records by one of the most successful of American bassos, whose superb work with the Metropolitan Opera has deepened the impression already made by him in concert. Mr. Witherspoon is a singer of intelligence, with a voice and style of unusual beauty. He has an impressive stage presence, distinguished bearing and much personal magnetism. His voice is of ample range, exceptionally well schooled and noble in quality, and he is an accomplished master in the art of phrasing. The difficult oratorio airs are sung in a smooth and accurate manner, while Kipling’s exquisite verse is delivered with a pathcs and intensity of feeling in the highest degree effective. ——_ Photo Gessford Mr. Witherspoon's | @| | Number | | Photo Hall’s Studio Price 5613/10| .60 35079/}12/1.25 5614/10; .60 35093}12/1.25 35156/12/1.25 5695/10! .60 5612|10| .60 16661)10| .75 31736/12/1.00 5725|10| .60 16286|10| .75 16857|10) .75 4575/10; .60 16096|10| .75 31687) 12/1.00 5322|10) .60 5563/10) .60 4331|10| .60 2561/10) .60 2560/10) .60 70026/12)1.25 16319)10| .75 31171)12/1.00 31730/12)1.00
