VICTOR RECORDS >iakcr ■= ELMAN, MISCHA, Violinist {AccompanimenU by Percy Kahn) This young Russian violinist is quite the sensation of the day, and American audiences, like the London and Berlin critics, have been absolutely amazed at this young player’s maturity and independence of conception, his supierb command of violin and bow 2uid his marvelous delivery. Elman recently signed a new agreement, which gives the Victor the sole righ* to issue his records for a further term of years. The artist’s fourth American tour, was even more successful than the previous ones, crowded houses and unlimited enthusiasm being the rule wherever he appeared. The Elman records are a revelation — the beautiful tone, the smoothness of the records and the absence of any mechanical imperfections being delightful to note.
