This artist’s singing was one of the features of a seven weeks’ tour with the Victor Herbert Orchestra. The soprano has given us the beautiful air of the unfortunate Butterfly sung in Act II. In the English version this is called the “Vision Song,’” as it describes her vision of the arrival of Pinkerton’s ship. Mrs. Kimball has also given a fine rendition of the soprano air from Mendelssohn’s Elijah, the favorite puoto wuite Prayer from Tosca, besides Cadman and Weil songs.
