FAMOUS PLAYERS THEATRES ARE PLEDGED TO BACK EXPO ’67 TO THE HILT!
At a meeting in Head Office it was the unanimous decision that Famous Players’ theatres will go “all out’ to help exploit and sell EXPO ’67!
The meeting appointed Dan Krendel, manager of District B, as co-ordinator of the campaign and he has been granted a leave-of-absence to handle this tremendously important job for Famous Players for the next months. He will be aided by Norman Barker, assistant advertising manager of Famous Players, who will represent the Publicity Department. Dan’s theatres will be handled by Mort Margolius.
The project is to SELL Expo . . . and our job is to get as many Expo ’67 Passports into the hands of as many Canadians as humanly possible. We want every Canadian to visit EXPO ’67 next year!
The time is NOW for us as Famous Players’ Canadian Showmen with 46 proud years of background in show business, to build an all-out effort to sell Canada to the Canadians!
Every theatre on our vast circuit will be expected to co-operate ... FULLY!
Trailers, drop-in slugs, window streamers, posters, etc. will be provided by your Publicity Department.
Dan Krendel has already sent to all theatres the story on EXPO Passports, etc. and you’ll be filled in by regular bulletins on all phases of EXPO ’67.
Good Luck — and happy sales promotions!
