Started on the \Ms stage in 1903 at Eliteh's Gardens, Denver, then went to New York, appearing with Virginia Harned at the Knickerbocker Theatre, management Chas. Frohman, after which he appeared at the Majestic Theatre. Boston, In the original production of Mizpah. and spent the following season In support of Jos. Wheelock, Jr., in "Just Out of College" and the original production of "Brigadier Girard" in support of the late Kyrle Bellew. Then followed a season's engagement in support of S. Miller Kent in "Raffles." after which Mr Garwood appeared at the Auditorium Theare. Dos Angeles. CaL, with Lewis S. Stone, playing light comedy and juvenile roles: following which he was for two seasons at the Alcazar Theatre. San Francisco, and a short season with Dustin Farnum in "Cameo Kirby." Mr. Garwood then made his debut in silent drama, playing with the Thanhouser Company for one year, after going back to the legitimate for a year in stock in Columbus, Ohio; again returned to the Thanhouser Company, where he played for two years; then joined the Majestic for ten months and finally with the American, where he is now engaged.
