m ARSHALL STEDMAN. Born in Bethel, Maine, 1875. First appeared in theatricals in 1892 with Wm. Morris in juvenile parts, playing the role of Bob Appleton in "The Lost Paradise," also as Ned Annesley in "Sowing the Wind," two seasons. Then with E. H. Sothern two seasons juvenile parts, later starring in one-act plays and appearing in Shakespearean repertoire en tour. Left the stage for several years and returned, taking charge of the dramatic department of the Chicago Musical College for four years, then into vaudeville one season. In 1909 was specially engaged to make feature films for the Essanay in Chicago, then to the Selig Company, Chicago, for three years as author, actor, producer and manager, coming to Los Angeles, Cal., to teach acting with "Eagan School of Music and Drama."
