Vw^ILLIAM C. EHFE. Born in New Orleans, La.. 1890. Educated at Whit| I | man College. Walla Walla, Wash. His first appearance in theatricals \MS was in stock, playing juvenile roles, later going with Ferris Hartman Company in musical comedy at Idora Park, Oakland. Cal. His next appearance was in vaudeville, in comedy sketches, over the Sullivan & Considine circuit. His first experience in moving pictures was with the Nestor Company, playing the part of Claudie Eclaire in the "Desperate Desmond Series," later going with the Melie's Company on a world tour, playing juvenile parts. After the disbandment of the Melie's Company, he joined the New York Motion Picture Company, Santa Monica, Cal., playing leads and heavies, remaining with them one and a half years, finally going with the Kalem Company, Glendale, Cal., playing leads under the direction of Mr. McGowan, where he is now engaged.
