GHARLES CHAPLIN. Born in London, England, 1889. Started his theatrical career as a boy comedian, playing in all of the principal halls in London. In 1911 he came to the United States and played juvenile roles with William Gillett in "Secret Service," also in the production of "Clarice," "Sherlock Holmes," etc., etc. In 1913 made his first appearance in moving pictures with the Keystone Company in character comedy. Mr. Chaplin has very few equals in comedy roles and his success on the screen has been phenomenal, as he is a natural comedian and character impersonator.
