*» — I'OHN H. HAMILTON. Born in Chicago, 111.. 1879. First experience on Q 1 the stage was in 1895, playing juvenile role in "No Wedding Bells \^r for Her" and the "Span of Life." Later became associated with Joe Stanley, the boy actor, in the production, "From Rags to Riches." In 1902 he toured the state of Nebraska with "The Lucky Belle." "Shorty" Hamilton, as he is popularly known, first entered the moving pictures in 1912 when he joined the New York Motion Picture Company (Broncho, Kay-Bee and Domino brands), playing character parts. He is now engaged with the same company. Prior to joining the pictures, "Shorty" gained lots of fame as a "soldier of fortune" with the Revolutionary Forces in Mexico.
