O 1 In the summer of 1896, when only six years old, played with the "Tom V^^* Thumb" company of juvenile players in Wapaboneta, Ohio. After receiving a public school education, Mr. Keller began his theatrical career in earnest by playing juvenile leads with many well known stock companies in the Middle West and on the Coast, some of which engagements being with the old Curtis Stock Company in Denver, one season with repertory show along the Mexican border, one season with Cleo Madison Stock Company, summer stock at Potter Theatre, Santa Barbara, Cal., and a thirty-two weeks' engagement with the Burrough Company in Pomona, Cal. During this time Mr. Keller showed his versatility by playing every kind of part from old-time melodrama to the "Lion and the Mouse." First moving picture engagement with the New York Moving Picture Company, April, 1913, since which time he has been playing leads. Some of his most successful roles are shown in the following pictures: "The Bells of Austi," "The Rightful Heir," "The Forlorn Hope," "The Silent Messenger," "Karma," and "The Frontier Mother."
