eAY MYERS. Born in Hot Springs, Ark., 1889. First appearance on the stage was in musical comedy in 1906 for two years. After spending two years in retirement on his ranch in Arizona Mr. Myers joined the Kalem Co. in 1910, playing heavies. Remaining with the Kalem for one and a half years he appeared with the original "101 Bison," New York Motion Picture Co., in the production of "War On the Plains," the first picture produced under this release brand, the scenario of which was written by Mr. Myers, assisted by Mr. Thomas H. Ince; played juveniles and emotional leads with this company for two years, then joined the Universal, playing juvenile leads and acting as co-director with Francis Ford, releasing under the Nestor brand, following which he went to San Antonio, Texas, and played the part of Davy Crockett in "The Fall of the Alamo," a picture financed and produced by the Slate of Texas.
