In 1913 Miss Markey entered the moving pictures with the Ammex Company at San Diego, Cal., playing the role of Mercedes in "A Mexican Rebellion." In 1914 she joined the New York Moving Picture Company (Broncho), Santa Monica, playing leads. She has exceptional talent and is a great student, being educated at Wolf Hall and Miss Hookers in Denver. fi HEA MITCHELL. Born in Portland, Ore., December 10, 1891. First theatrical engagement in 1909, playing ingenue leads th Baker Stock Company, Portland, Ore. Then followed a season, 1911, over Orpheum circuit; then a season with the Alcazar Stock Co., San Francisco, Cal., after which joined the New York Motion Picture Co., where she is now engaged playing ingenue leads. Address: New York Motion Picture Company, Santa Monica, Cal. fi AYMOND B. WEST. Born in Chicago. February 11, 1886. Started in the moving picture business five years ago in the property department of the Kay-Bee, under F. J. Balshofer. Later, under Mr. Ince, he received his directorship and producing training. Mr. West produced the first series of Irish pictures, namely, "The Banshee," "The Heart of Kathleen," "The Wearing of the Green," "Widow Maloney's Faith," and many others.
