©ESSIE EYTON. Born in Santa Barbara, Cal., July 5, 1890. Unlike many other photoplayers who have made their mark in the silent drama, Miss Eyton had no experience in the legitimate. Owing, however, to her great natural talent added to the devotion she has for her work, this does not appear in the least to have been a handicap to her, as she is fast becoming one of the foremost in her profession. She joined the Selig Company four years ago, serving in turn under the directorship of Hobart Bosworth. Colin Campbell and Tom Santschi. Her most recent successes have been her leads in "Diamond in the Rough," "Alone in the Jungle," "Sally in Our Alley," and "The Spoilers." Miss Eyton is very fond of all outdoor sports, especially swimming, at which she is an expert. Miss Eyton's attractive personality, her great beauty and her capability have won her hosts of friends and admirers all over the universe. Address: Selig Studio, Eastlake, Los Angeles, Cal.
