HOOVER PHOTO QHILIP GRAY DUNHAM. Born in London, England, April 23, 1884. Educated at Charterhouse and Clare College, Cambridge, England. First appearance on the stage, 1904, with Beerbohm Tree in "Much Ado About Nothing," at His Majesty's Theatre, London, which engagement lasted one year; then followed a season with Comyas Carr in a series of old English plays, in comedy parts, then followed another season at His Majesty's Theatre, playing comedy leads in the production of various Shakespearian dramas. In 1910, Mr. Dunham came to the United States and filled his first moving picture engagement in that year with the Universal-Bison "101" in character parts under the direction of Wilfred Lucas. Now engaged playing eccentric comedy leads in the "Joker Comedy Series." Address: Universal Film Manufacturing Company, Hollywood, Cal. One Hundred Seventy-four
