eAYMOND GALLAGHER. Born April 17, 1889. Before joining the moving pictures, had ten years of theatrical experience, playing in some of the very best stock and road companies, being leading man in "The Wolf," "Miss Temple's Telegram" and "The Girl of the Golden "West." It was while playing at the Alcazar Theatre that Mr. Melies first saw Mr. Gallagher, and immediately offered him big inducements to join the moving pictures, and persuaded him to tour the world with him. This lasted one year. Then he joined the Lubin Company, with whom he was for over a year. Afterwards he associated himself with the Universal Company, where he is at present engaged as leading man for the Powers Brand, Universal Film Company.
