©ERT HADLEY. Born in Walla Walla, Wash., April 12, 1882. First theatrical experience was in stock in Lewiston, Idaho, then two years with the Dell Lawrence Stock Company, playing "heavies." Following this engagement, Mr. Hadley joined the Curtis Comedy Company, Spokane, Wash., where he was engaged for one year, after which he played leads with William Russell and Drew in Seattle, Wash. His last experience on the legitimate stage was two seasons' engagement with Myrtle Vane in Seattle, San Diego and El Paso, Texas. Mr. Hadley's moving picture experience dates from 1912. when he joined the Kay-Bee-Broncho in Santa Monica, during which time his chief pictures were "A Forlorn Hope," in which he played the part of road agent; also doing exceptionally fine work as the spy in "A War-time Mother's Sacrifice." After an engagement of nine months with the Kay-Bee. Mr. Hadley associated himself with Carlyle BlackweTl Kalem Company, where he made a great success in playing the convict in "A Convict's Story." Following an engagement with the Kalem Company under Director John McGowan, he associated himself with the Universal Company, where he is now engaged, playing leads under direction Lloyd Ingraham.
