I VERA MILDRED SISSON. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, 1895. Educated at Denver, Colo., coming to Los Angeles in 1913, when she joined the Universal Company, playing comedy leads under the direction of J. H. MacDonald, later going to the Majestic Company, playing leads opposite William Garwood, and finally returned to the Universal Company, playing comedy leads under the direction of Don MacDonald, and is at present engaged in playing ingenue leads with Jack Kerrigan. One of Miss Sisson's best successes in the pictures was her portrayal of Natalie in the "Bolted Door." She is one of the few who have risen to prominence in the silent drama without first having a preliminary experience in the legitimate. She is a niece of J. H.
