er 'DITH JOHNSON. Born in Rochester, N. Y., August 10, 1894. Educated at high school and the Excelsior Commercial Institute of Rochester, N. Y. From the age of 13 until joining the motion pictures she used to pose for the Eastman Kodak Company of Rochester, N. Y., and other New York houses. This led to many invitations for her to associate herself with the motion pictures, until she finally joined the Selig Company in Chicago ten months ago. After staying with them for four months she came West to join their Western company, where she is at present engaged, playing leads under Mr. Grandon. Some of Miss Johnson's most recent successes have been in "Life's Crucible," "Heart's Desire," "Butterfly Wing," "The Lure o' the Windigo," etc., etc. Although Miss Johnson's experience in the moving pictures has not been of a long duration, yet she has on great natural talent and her work is creating a ment.
