Leading man with the Santa Barbara Motion Pic- ture Company, under the direction of Henry Otto, was born April 21, 1887, and began his career as assistant to Phillips Smalley at the Uni- versal West Coast Studios in 1913. Later appeared under the direction of Francis Ford at the Universal, and was for some time leading man for the Xash Motion Picture Company.
