When her screen popularity waned after a succession of unsuitable parts, she made a triumphant vaudeville tour of America. For a time he was also on the sales staff of a Bond Street tailor. Eventually made his stage debut in The Hundredth Chance, 1927. The war interrupted his career. He bears a strong resemblance to Barrymore and, as a matter of fact, he has a particular flair for playing similar kinds of roles.
